About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll play a key role in assembling our innovative magnet‑free electric motors for both serial and pre‑serial production.
As an Assembly Operator, you’ll work alongside a manufacturing team, contributing to shared goals and production targets.

What will you do
- Assemble electric motors, transmissions, and associated sub‑assemblies using hand tools and machinery
- Comply with health & safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Interrogate and understand engineering drawings
- Adhere to standard operating procedures to meet quality standards
- Inspect and test components throughout the process to ensure product conformance
- Complete documentation (written & electronic) for traceability and record keeping
- Meet output targets and contribute to continuous improvement
Education/Qualifications Required
- GCSE’S in Maths & English or equivalent
- Basic computer literacy required
Experience Required
- Previous experience of working in a factory / assembly environment is essential
- Familiarity with hand tools and assembly equipment

What you will work & earn
- 5‑hour week. You will work; Monday to Thursday 8am‑4.30pm and Friday 8am‑1.30pm (Early finish on a Friday!)
- £13.20 p/h rising to £14.19 p/h once fully trained
