Learning Support Assistant – ALFIE

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to work 3 hours per week on Fridays supporting students in our ALFIE department at Berkshire College for Agriculture. The role is permanent, term‑time only for 37 weeks of the year. Pay is G17 £1,716.18 to G19 £1,837.47 (G17 £25,483 to G19 £27,284 full‑time equivalent), dependent on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support adult learners aged 19+ with special educational needs, disabilities or learning difficulties on a one‑to‑one basis.
  • Assist learners in small groups or classroom settings to develop life and work skills such as independent living, money management, health and employability.
  • Enable learners to access the curriculum, engage fully in college life and work towards achieving their individual goals and full potential.
