Property Management Consultant – Little Venice, London
Location: Little Venice, London
Salary: 32k-34k Plus Commission
Hours: 40 hours per week / Hybrid working
About The Role
Chestertons is looking for a Property Management Consultant to join our Little Venice office. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of 70–110 properties for high-value clients across London, ensuring a smooth, compliant, and exceptional experience for tenants and landlords throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
You will act as the first point of contact for tenant and landlord enquiries, manage maintenance and compliance, conduct regular property visits, and help grow the business by identifying opportunities to promote our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to tenants and landlords from tenancy commencement to deposit release.
- Conduct 5 property visits per week, providing detailed reports to landlords.
- Manage maintenance issues, contractors, and compliance with legislation.
- Negotiate deposit deductions and manage rent arrears, including court proceedings when required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and third-party agents.
- Identify opportunities to upsell company services, including rent protection, additional property visits, and large works.
- Support a collaborative and harmonious team environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Property Manager with strong knowledge of property management processes and legislation.
- Understanding of the Housing Act and practical application in a property management context.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Strong time management, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in tenancy and CRM systems.
- Experience managing high-value client portfolios is desirable.
