Support Workers – Part‑time (21 hours per week)

Location & Service

Maryport – a well‑established, people‑focused service supporting four individuals ranging in age from the 50s to the 70s.

If you’re caring, compassionate, and genuinely motivated to make a difference, this is an exciting opportunity to bring your talents to a service where your contribution truly matters. We’re looking for Support Workers who can offer high‑quality, person‑centred support to four individuals with learning disabilities. Our aim is to promote each person’s choices, wellbeing, and independence.

What the role involves

You’ll provide day‑to‑day support tailored to each person’s needs, helping them build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy meaningful experiences. Your approach will be person‑centred, patient, and grounded in dignity and respect.

Shift Patterns

  • 8am – 3.30pm
  • 2.30pm – 10pm
  • 10pm – 8am (waking nights)

Please note: We are not currently recruiting for waking night shifts, but there may be occasional waking night cover required for annual leave or sickness.

What we’re looking for

  • Candidates should hold a UK driving license and have access to a vehicle (the home is rural and not well‑served by public transport)
