My client is recruiting for an experienced telehandler to work on a busy housing site for a large groundworks and civils company. The position is initially 2-3 weeks but could be extended based on performance.
HOURLY RATE: £20 per hour – CIS
LOCATION: Overstone
START DATE: 18th August 2025
CONTRACT LENGTH: 2-3 weeks, potentially longer depending on performance
HOURS OF WORK:
- 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Operate a 9m reach Telehandler
- Transport materials to and from designated areas on site, following the daily production schedule
- Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks
- Move goods packed on pallets or in crates
- Check loads are secure
- Stack empty pallets
- Perform daily equipment checks, including recharging batteries and lubricating machinery
- Remove machine attachments and waste materials from machines
REQUIREMENTS:
- CPCS / NPORS Card (valid)
- PPE
- Ability to operate a 9m reach telehandler
PERSON SPECIFICATION:
- Experience working on housing sites
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to work 45 hours per week
- Competency in operating the machine
NOTE: Payment will be processed via Marvel Payroll, and an Account Manager will contact you before your start date. All workers will be paid via CIS.
