Customer Service Assistant – Overview

If so, our Customer Service Assistant role is the role for you! Here at Langdons, we have an amazing opportunity for a Customer Service Assistant to join the team based in Luton. You will be working full time, permanent, Monday to Friday. In return, you will receive a highly competitive salary of £30,056.93 per annum plus excellent company benefits.

Responsibilities
This is a fantastic role to really get your teeth into. Your role will be to handle daily enquiries and bookings from customers, ensuring the highest quality of service is delivered and any complaints are followed up and escalated where required.
What you’ll be doing
- Respond to all customer enquiries and ensure they are made aware of delivery and collection arrangements
- Book incoming jobs onto company systems and allocate them to relevant depots
- Work closely with Warehouse colleagues and customers to identify any discrepancies in stock movements
- Assist with price quotations for movement of loads upon request
- Provide cover for the Transport Team where required
Qualifications and experience
- Level 3 Customer Service or equivalent
- Experience of using computer systems including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Experience of liaising with customers
Skills
- Ability to compile, analyse and interpret relevant data
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding of exceptional customer service
- Ability to use initiative and be organised so that key tasks are completed fully and on time
- Ability to work to set targets and deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven arithmetic skills
- Happy working with a team
