Support Worker

Chobham, Surrey

£25,845 per annum (pro rata)

Full time hours available (39 hours per week)

About the role

We are currently recruiting for a support worker to join our team in our Chobham service, providing tailored support to people with learning disabilities, brain injuries and autism. Some of the people we support are non‑verbal and there may be potential challenging behaviours. This role requires flexibility with the ability to work days and nights depending on the needs of the rota.

Typical shift patterns

7/8 am‑2 pm, 2 pm‑9 pm, 8:45 pm‑7:15 am and Sleep INS 9 pm‑6:30 am

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our people to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.
  • Supporting our people with social activities, and connecting with family and friends.
  • Supporting the management of our people’s finances.
  • Keeping our people’s home clean and fresh, and going shopping.
  • Providing, and encouraging, personal care.
  • And enjoying what you do!

Experience and training

Experience in social care is not essential. We provide a full range of accredited and award‑winning training programmes at no cost to you, including the Health and Social Care Diploma that will really support your career progression.
