Location: Bourne
Job Description:

Work directly with the CEO of a fast-growing multi-sector group of companies.

An exceptional opportunity to gain first-hand experience, working directly with the CEO of a dynamic organisation focused on renewable energy, sustainable construction, and innovative environmental solutions.

This is a high-impact, strategic role offering exposure across multiple business units. You’ll collaborate with the CEO on key initiatives, contribute to strategic decision-making, and gain insight into running a diverse and ambitious business. It’s an ideal position for someone aiming to progress into leadership roles in strategy, operations, or innovation.

We’re looking for a driven, analytical, and adaptable individual – ideally with an engineering or scientific background and a passion for sustainability – who is ready to accelerate their career in business leadership. This is not a support role. It’s a unique chance to work closely with the CEO, shaping business direction and making a tangible impact across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the CEO to improve strategic oversight and time management, focusing attention on the most critical priorities.
  • Understand and align with the company’s strategic goals across its varied business sectors.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance across business units, providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform decision-making and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Act as a sounding board for new initiatives and provide input based on research, industry trends, and internal performance data.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, reports, and strategic summaries.
  • Liaise with COOs and senior leaders to track project progress and ensure milestone alignment.
  • Represent the CEO in communications and meetings where appropriate, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

What We’re Looking For

  • MBA or equivalent, with strong academic credentials and demonstrable business acumen.
  • Strategic mindset with a keen interest in sustainability, renewable energy, and innovation.
  • Exceptional research, analysis, and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with business tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and project management platforms.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, making decisions with incomplete data.
  • A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence.
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with a clear vision for personal growth and leadership development.
