The Role

Whilst fully embracing the company ethos supportworkers provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people wesupport to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’sindividuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the lifethey want to live.

Support is required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

·To provide support to empowerthe people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respectingeveryone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to livethe life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.

·Promote the health, well-being,physical, emotional, cultural and spiritual beliefs of the people we supportand ensure they are met in an inclusive way.

·To facilitate social,educational or work activities such as visiting family and friends, supportedemployment, walks, shopping and other recreational activities of their choice.

·General housekeeping duties thatcan include shopping, domestic duties as well as elements of personal care.

·As part of the role, you willneed to be able to complete a range of records and documents.

About The Service

Baylis Place is an 11-bedroom residential home in Kingston Upon Hull. We provide a high level of quality individual care to people with learning disabilities, and other complex needs including challenging behaviour.
