Support Worker – Barry, South Wales

Support Worker required for a residential care setting in Barry, South Wales.

Pay Rate: £12.50 – £14.00 per hour

Location: Barry, CF62

Hours: Full time and part time available — day shifts and night shifts

Contract: Ongoing temporary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents in a supported living setting
• Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation and medication administration
• Support residents with social activities and community engagement
• Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
• Work as part of a team to ensure high-quality care delivery

Requirements

• Previous experience in a care or support worker role (preferred but not essential — training provided)
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
• Mandatory care training certificates (or willing to complete)
• Reliable, compassionate, and committed to making a difference
• Must be able to work shift patterns including nights and weekends
