Job Description

Sports Surface Maintenance Operative (multiple positions available)Location: Meridian Business Park, Leicester (close to Fosse Park)Salary: Up to £30,000 with overtime and bonusJob Type: Permanent, Full Time

Responsibilities

• Conduct full range of maintenance processes for synthetic and natural sports surfaces to the highest standard.
• Plan work schedules, manage time efficiently and maintain an eye for detail.
• Operate a range of ground maintenance vehicles and fill out site reports.
• Liaise with clients on site, drive company vehicles and adhere to the Health and Safety policy.
• Travel across the UK, working from respective depots; occasional overnight stays averaging 2 weeks per month.

Candidate

• Experience in synthetic turf maintenance, greenkeeping or landscaping/grounds maintenance is desirable but not essential; full training provided.
• Strong practical skills, initiative and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work over and above normal hours when required; overtime will be paid.
• Competent driving and a good working knowledge of health and safety procedures.
