Help shape the future of Health, Safety, and Environment in a fast-growing company.

As one of the UK’s leading roofing and cladding contractors, we are looking for a SHEQ Coordinator with experience within the Construction Industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Health & Safety and Site teams, as well as other departments, in what will be a busy and varied role. The candidate must have strong interpersonal skills, be highly organised, and have experience in working within the Microsoft Office suite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update SHEQ documentation, including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit reports.
  • Assist in the reporting and investigation of incidents, accidents, and near misses, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Assist in internal and external ISO audits, ensuring that all necessary documentation and evidence are available.
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving health and safety performance and promoting best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of SHEQ activities and performance metrics.
  • Support in new site set-up.
  • Support in ordering and distributing PPE.
  • Support the Training Coordinator.
  • Research and ad hoc projects

Key Requirements

  • Background in the construction industry
  • Experience within an Health & Safety support role
  • Highly organised
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Problem solving
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Ability to manage own workload

Job Type: Part-Time, possibly school hour. Full-Time considered.

Location: Office Based (Hulland Ward, Ashbourne, Derbyshire)
