What you will get out of volunteering for us

The Jewish Volunteering Network (JVN) is the UK’s Jewish community volunteering hub, connecting people who want to give their time with charities and organisations that need their skills.

For nearly two decades, JVN has supported thousands of volunteers and hundreds of charities across the Jewish and wider community. We make volunteering accessible, inclusive and meaningful, whether someone can offer an hour, a skill, or long-term commitment.

JVN helps individuals find roles that reflect their interests, availability and experience. We also work closely with charities to strengthen volunteer programmes, improve volunteer management practice and increase engagement.

Our purpose is simple but powerful: to promote volunteering, connect volunteers and support charities so that together we can build stronger communities.

Our vision is that every Jewish person volunteers at least once a year, regardless of age, background or ability – contributing to a thriving charity sector and a more connected society.

JVN works across the voluntary, public and private sectors, raising the profile of volunteering and championing its impact as a force for good within the Jewish and wider community.
