Job Description

We are looking for a Site Operative to join the Frontier team, based at Crimond, on a permanent, full‑time basis. You will carry out day‑to‑day activities of the site, assisting in the delivery of high standards of safety, quality and operations while being part of a team that operates with integrity and accountability and delivers a high standard of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Site Management with all aspects of Grain Storage Operations.
  • Assist Site Management to comply with Health, Safety and Quality procedures, including keeping records to ensure compliance.
  • Perform work to customer requirements regarding drying, cleaning and storage operations to produce desired levels of quality and service.
  • Ensure general housekeeping and hygiene of the site is maintained.
  • Ensure stores, plant and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
  • Assist within the grain testing lab / weighbridge.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Good communicator, able to consult with all team members and the site management team.
  • Can work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining Frontier’s ICE values.
  • Adapts quickly to changing business and customer needs, providing a responsive customer‑focussed service.
  • Can accommodate the seasonal nature of Frontier’s business.
  • Has a customer‑first mindset and ensures compliance with all internal procedures.
  • Can work collaboratively with others and independently without supervision.
  • Workshop / mechanical skills (desirable but not essential).
  • Loading shovel license (desirable but not essential).
  • Tele‑handler / FLT license (desirable but not essential).
  • Previous experience in a similar business is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for the right candidate.
