About the Role
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that all grounds maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards. You will lead a team of two operatives, manage daily schedules, and ensure that all work adheres to safety and quality guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead grounds maintenance operative in a 2 person team.
- Plan and manage daily work schedules.
- Ensure all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is used safely.
- Liaise with clients to ensure their requirements are met.
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities.
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
- Spraying licences.
- Experience with a variety of grounds maintenance equipment.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
