Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, Down syndrome and mobility needs
- Spend dedicated time with the person you support during your shift, delivering daily living and social activities
- Adhere to health, safety and safeguarding policies and procedures
- Assist with daily routines, personal care as required, and enable participation in activities
- Work within a rotating shift pattern, including day shifts (07:30–21:30) and night shifts (21:30–07:30)
- Collaborate with the team (2–4 staff on duty during the day; two staff on waking night shifts)
- Maintain accurate records and support plans as required
- Utilise Positive Behavioural Support, Makaton, MAPA and medication administration training when relevant
