Are you looking for a change of scene but want to continue making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families?
We are currently recruiting for children’s homes based in the Channel Islands. We are seeking experienced support workers to work within Residential Children’s Homes. You will participate in sleep duties within the homes, which involve overnight stays. This role offers stand-by pay (at 0.25x your hourly rate) as well as full pay if called out. Additionally, bank holidays are paid at 2x the normal rate.
Furthermore, this position is outside IR35, meaning you will pay almost half the tax compared to the mainland, plus travel/moving costs are covered, and accommodation is provided.
Requirements for this role include holding at least a Level 3 QCF in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification, being over 21 years old, and possessing a clean driver’s license.
