Behaviour Support Assistant
Granville Academy is part of the Affinity Learning Partnership, a Multi Academy Trust based in Staffordshire and Derbyshire. We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to join our Pastoral Support Team.
The Candidate
We are looking for someone who will be a key part of our Pastoral Support Team. The successful candidate will have high expectations and a commitment to raising standards. The individual will be able to help foster a caring and supportive learning environment for our young people. Your experience of pastoral care will place our learners’ welfare at the heart of the school.
Responsibilities and Expectations
The role of a Behaviour Support Assistant will involve providing student support within and beyond the classroom. This includes re‑engaging individual students, supporting them to make wise choices and working flexibly across all age groups. You will need the confidence to deal with challenging behaviours and the ability to foster positive relationships with staff, students and parents/carers.
