Team Member 2 – 9 Months FTC
Annual Salary: £44,385.36
Working Hours: 6:00pm – 6:00am, 4‑week rolling rota:
- Week1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Week2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week3: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Week4: Wednesday, Thursday
Location: 10 Waxlow Road, London, NW107NY
What will this role achieve?
As part of the Packing Hall team you will run machinery, check product quality and help maintain high production standards.
Key Deliverables
- Carry out all pre‑start checks.
- Evaluate product quality throughout the shift.
- Operate and control a variety of processes and equipment.
- Understand equipment and machinery set‑up.
- Work in a cross‑functional environment.
- Complete changeovers following the correct procedure.
- Ensure documentation is filled in correctly and to the right standard.
- Complete shift handovers as agreed.
- Train peers and new operatives in equipment use and procedures when required.
- Perform basic problem diagnosis and work with team members to resolve issues.
- Maintain efficient operation of packing equipment whilst carrying out quality inspections and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Maximise plant efficiency while minimising waste.
- Maintain housekeeping and hygiene standards at the highest level.
- Support the business with the generation of improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Essential: Understanding of good manufacturing practices and safety at work procedures; ability to work well with others, open to learning and change.
- Desirable: Experience working with food or machinery in a quality‑focused factory.

Recruitment Process
Assessments – Swift Comprehensive Aptitude and a Workplace English assessment (~60minutes). Interview – 45–60 minute competency‑based interview focusing on company values and experience.
