Advanced Support Worker – Full Time (36 hours/week)

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Advanced Support Workers to join our person‑centred service. You will support two individuals with learning disabilities in a warm, welcoming home, promoting independence, wellbeing, and choice.

Location

Penrith, Cumbria.

Shifts

7:30 am–3 pm | 3 pm–10 pm | 8 am–8 pm | 8 am–10 pm | 8 pm–8 am (Waking Night).

About the Role

As an Advanced Support Worker, you will provide compassionate care and support, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the residents. Your role will include daily assistance, maintaining a pleasant environment, and encouraging independence and social participation.

Responsibilities

• Support and care for two individuals with learning disabilities.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and choice in daily activities.
• Assist with personal care, hygiene and medication management as required.
• Prepare and offer meals, ensuring dietary needs are met.
• Facilitate participation in community and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of care plans and progress.
• Communicate regularly with families, professionals and the support team.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance standards, including maintaining a DBS clearance.
