Part-Time Support Worker Required – Cornwall

Location: Cornwall

Pay Rate: £15.34 per hour

Hours: 22.2 hours per week

Contract: Immediate start – End of August 2026

Working Pattern: 3 days per week on a rolling rota (Monday–Sunday, 8 am–9 pm)

We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join a supported housing service working with individuals experiencing mental ill health, challenging behaviour, and alcohol/substance misuse issues.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable people and helping them work towards greater independence and stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting customers with day-to-day needs and wellbeing
• Developing and following support plans
• Risk assessing and managing challenging situations safely
• Maintaining accurate records and case notes
• Building positive and professional relationships with customers
• Working independently and as part of a wider support team

Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience supporting vulnerable individuals or complex needs clients
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence with lone working and decision making
• Good IT and record-keeping abilitiesA calm, resilient, and adaptable approach
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism
