Production Support Operative

Location: On site / Henlow, UKJob type: Permanent / Full-timeSector and subsector: Manufacturing | OperatorSalary: Competitive salary

Hours of work are 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm with overtime available.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Prioritise daily workload as per the manufacturing schedule.
• Forklift truck driving.
• Booking out raw material to Production/process support.
• Operate the cardboard/plastic waste compactor, off‑loading and booking in raw materials.
• Help with mould changes.
• Operate a FIFO stock control system.
• Empty chemical waste buckets (Lates).
• Wrap all “part” pallets of insert to go back to warehouse.
• Booking out pallets.
• Assisting with 100mtr coil jobs which can be a two‑man job.
• Maintain supply of materials in factory.

Key Skills

• Computer literate (SAP experience will be an advantage).
