Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Start Date: September 2026

Responsibilities

  • Support young adults in overcoming barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist students in developing independent learning skills where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement individual support plans.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience working with young people or a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Recent experience in a learning support or similar role is preferred.
  • Ability to speak a second language, or proficiency in sign language, would be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
  • Resilience and a positive approach to meeting student needs.
  • Commitment to the school’s vision, values, and ethos.
