Your rate of pay and hours of work
In joining as a Forklift Driver, you will earn £12.21per hour and be paid on a weekly basis. The shifts for this role are flexible, with Monday to Friday day shift and back shift options available. Although this role is initially temporary, there is the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities within your new role as a Forklift Driver
Within your role, you will primarily be picking orders via Reach forklift operating. You will also take responsibility for packing orders ready for delivery and ensuring stock control is accurate at all times. As the Forklift Driver, you will ensure that the equipment used is maintained and stored correctly, whilst complying with health and safety regulations and requirements.
Your personality, experience and qualifications
Ideally, you will have experience in a similar Forklift Driving or Warehouse role. You should hold a Forklift Counterbalance and Reach Licence when applying for this role.
You’ll be a hardworking, reliable and diligent individual with the ability to reach targets in a fast-paced working environment. You should have excellent attention to detail and possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude, combined with strong communication skills in order to work effectively in a team.
