Position: Support Worker

Location: Amersham

Salary: £16,110 per annum or £13.77 per hour

Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

Join our caring team at White Lion Road, a supported living service where six adults with learning disabilities live independently in their own self-contained flats. We work together to create a respectful, inclusive environment where each person feels supported, understood and empowered to live confidently.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one, person-centred support that helps individuals build independence and achieve their goals.
• Support daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and budgeting.
• Deliver personal care sensitively and respectfully.
• Assist with medication and contributing to support plans.
• Organise activities and encourage community involvement.
• Help new team members through induction and mentoring.
• Provide at least one sleep-in per week (additional allowance of £52.78 per sleep-in).

About You

• Are caring, proactive and experienced in support or care work.
• Communicate clearly, adapt to individual needs and value collaboration and inclusion.
• Work well independently and as part of a team, and are flexible to cover shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
• Have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
