Job Description:

The Network Scheduler is responsible for converting Demand into a Network Supply Plan with an actionable 0-3-month executable production plan. This role ensures material and production readiness across the network, maximizes demand fulfilment, and drives short-term supply chain performance through proactive risk mitigation and recovery management. The Network Scheduler works closely with Production Planning, Network Planners, Operations, Procurement, and Customer Service within the S&OE (Sales and Operations Execution) horizon 0-3 months.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the short-term scheduling and demand fulfilment plan, ensuring supplier fulfilment of demand within a 12-week horizon to maximise clear-to-build plans.
  • Translate network-level supply plans into master production schedules for production sites and supplier networks.
  • Determine production load distribution across affected plants and define buying volumes required to support the plan.
  • Manage the impact of demand changes (new orders, cancellations, priority shifts) within the 12-week S&OE window.
  • Convert demand orders into repair plans as required and schedule and monitor repair M-order due dates in alignment with operational readiness.
  • Align SIOP & S&OE execution schedules with SIOP direction regarding inventory targets, cost-to-serve expectations, and production utilisation goals; communicate SIOP direction through weekly scheduling cycles.
  • Identify S&OE risks and opportunities, escalating them appropriately to the Network Planner and acting as the first escalation point for short-term issues impacting schedule adherence or customer commitments.
  • Lead the execution of burn of arrears and past‑due orders to customers, supporting on-time delivery performance through proactive scheduling, material availability checks, and cross‑functional coordination.
  • Analyse short-term supply chain performance to identify risks early (expedite needs, re‑routes, inventory re‑deployment, supplier constraints) and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Maintain repair BOM (RBOM) data integrity; monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and correct or escalade as needed.
  • Collaborate with Operations to ensure capacity, labour, and resources align with scheduled requirements; work with Procurement to resolve material shortages, confirm supply commitments, and coordinate expedites.
  • Engage the Customer Service/CSR team to confirm achievable commitments and communicate risks early, and support IPT (Integrated Product Team) collaboration on product issues, repair planning, and schedule impacts.

Qualifications

Experience in production scheduling, material planning, or supply chain execution. Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, planning parameters, and master data health. Ability to prioritise, manage frequent changes, and communicate effectively. Strong problem‑solving skills with experience in short-term risk identification and mitigation.
