Parts Advisor

Hartshorne Group is one of the leading commercial vehicle distributors serving the West Midlands, East Midlands, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire. We provide full parts & service facilities for Volvo Truck & Bus as well as new and used sales and a diverse range of associated services.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive parts and administrative support to the workshop, ensuring timely identification, sourcing, pricing, and supply of parts to maintain efficient vehicle and trailer operations. The role involves compiling quotes, pre‑picking parts for planned work, managing urgent and VOR (Vehicle Off Road) orders, using pricing tools, and keeping up to date with promotions. Responsibilities also include stock control and accuracy (put‑away, adjustments, buybacks, stock takes), handling warranty and contract items, managing exchange and special tools processes, and ensuring all systems and documentation are correctly maintained.

Hours of Work

Monday – Friday 07:00am to 04:00pm;1 in 3 Saturdays 08:00am to 12:00pm.
