Job Description:

Job Purpose

  • To undertake all aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, small projects and Help Desk Calls in accordance with both client and JLL requirements
  • To manage and monitor the building operational functions
  • To be responsible for the buildings operational assets and systems whilst on shift
  • To issue permit to work for all specialist vendors and carry out appropriate isolations via LOTO
  • To complete HV training (tbc) and switch HV and LV supplies as required

Aims & Objectives

  • To assist and support the Building services supervisor in all functions, to ensure HSE, statutory and contractual compliance

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Escalation of incidents
  • All aspects of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance, and Help Desk Calls managed and completed whilst on shift
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover
  • Staff supervision including sub‑contractors and specialist providers
  • Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance and extra works
  • Operate JLL QA and HSE policy and procedures
  • Maintain clear and legible records as required
  • Provide written incident reports as required
  • Interaction with JLL support staff, providing information as required
  • Switching of HV and LV supplies as required

Occasional Allied Duties

  • To deputise as BSS support as required

Person Specification

Essential

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 and 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent
  • 18th Edition Institute of Electrical Engineers (I.E.E) Registration or recognised equivalent
  • Experience gained within a critical maintenance environment
  • A good working knowledge of BMS and critical assets and systems such as UPS, Emergency Generation, Electrical and Mechanical distribution, Air conditioning
  • Ability to interpret technical information and work with the team to provide solutions to technical/complex issues
  • Good leadership qualities, with a desire to progress within the business

Desirable

  • HV Approved
  • BTEC ONC Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Building Services or recognised equivalent
