What is the job role?
We are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team from September 2026. You will teach pupils with complex needs, including Autism, sensory differences and potentially PMLD, delivering engaging and personalised learning experiences that enable every child to succeed. We welcome teachers who bring creativity, innovation and high expectations to their classroom practice.
A good understanding of Early Years principles is beneficial, as these approaches underpin teaching and learning across our school. At Castle Wood, we are passionate about supporting teachers to develop their skills, knowledge and confidence, helping them grow professionally and build a career they are proud of.

- Is committed to safeguarding and continuous professional development
- Experience in a special school setting, knowledge of Autism, and training in Team Teach or positive handling would be advantageous but are not essential
