Food Technician
Location: Sefton, L23.
Type of work: Full time.
Start date: As soon as possible.
Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with lessons: helping sort materials, setting up equipment, and supporting students during lessons.
- Behaviour management: fostering a positive learning environment with good behaviour management.
- Practical work: assisting the food technology teacher with cleaning/preparing for the lesson, including assisting during practicals.
- Monitoring well-being: keeping an eye on students’ overall well-being and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
- Safeguarding: ensuring the safeguarding procedure is followed when required.
Requirements
- Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (desirable).
- Previous experience working with young people.
To be eligible
- Hold Right to Work in the UK.
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
- Provide two professional references covering 24 months of work.
