Are you an experienced Class 1 Driver looking for a change? If so, we have a great opportunity.

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Class 1 Driver to join our Tarmac team in Barry, CF62 3ZR.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, typical start is 05:00 and contracted to 40 hours per week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • You will be trunking and loading bulk cement tanks and tautliners of palletised packet cement.
  • From Aberthaw to onward distribution to locations within South Wales and the South West of England.
  • Bulk cement deliveries to customers, full bulk discharge training provided!
  • Conduct vehicle checks and maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and compliance.
  • Complete all required documentation and delivery records accurately.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Valid Category C+E (Class 1) UK driving licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous experience driving articulated class 1 vehicles preferred.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling equipment safely.
