Vision for Education are seeking a compassionate, and skilled SEND Teacher to lead a class of pupils (KS5)

The Role
- Deliver personalised learning support to help each pupil reach their full potential.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a wide range of learning needs and abilities.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and external professionals to support pupil progress and wellbeing.
- Foster a calm, inclusive, and positive classroom environment that encourages confidence, independence, and good behaviour.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, adapting teaching approaches to promote both academic achievement and personal development.
- Build strong, professional relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and colleagues to ensure positive outcomes for all learners.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a qualified teacher (PGCE/QTS/QTLS essential).
- Has experience working with pupils with SEND, particularly those working below age‑related expectations.
- Is patient, resilient, and creative in their approach to teaching.
- Has strong behaviour‑support skills.
- Can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
To be considered for the role, you will:
- Have a suitable qualification, (QTS/QTLS essential).
- Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
- Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
