In the heart of Hertfordshire, Bushey, an ‘Outstanding’ secondary school is seeking a permanent, full‑time Teacher of Chemistry / Science to start in September 2026.

Job Description

• Inspire and motivate the younger generation.
• Collaborate with a team of experienced Science teachers.
• Take on TLR opportunities such as KS3 Coordinator and pastoral responsibilities.
• Mentor Early Career Teachers (ECTs) through 1:1 support, bespoke induction and in‑house training.
• Start September 2026 – full‑time and permanent.
• Flexible registration deadline accommodation for all candidates.
• Salary: £39,571 – £59,135 (MPS1‑UPS3) plus TLR based on experience.
• Location: Hertfordshire, Bushey.

Person Specification

• UK QTS mandatory or in progress.
• Strong academic background – degree, A‑Levels and GCSEs.
• Meeting all eight Teaching Standards at a Good or Outstanding level.
• Ability to work effectively within a large Science department.
• Willingness to accept and act on feedback.
