We are currently seeking a dedicated and energetic Sushi Chef de Partie to join our esteemed kitchen team. As a Sushi Chef de Partie, you will play a central role in the preparation and execution of high-quality sushi dishes, contributing to the diversity and excellence of our menu. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present a variety of sushi dishes in accordance with established recipes.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized sushi station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in inventory management, ordering, and maintaining quality control of sushi ingredients.
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, contributing to the development of a cohesive culinary team.
- Actively participate in menu development, bringing forward ideas for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury establishment.
- Strong understanding of various sushi techniques and Japanese cuisine.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality culinary standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
