HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver to join a busy and well established operation based in Crewe. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for ongoing night work on a consistent 4 on 4 off shift pattern.

Details

• Location: Crewe – CW1
• Shifts: 4 On 4 Off (Apply online only)
• Pay: £17.14 per hour

Responsibilities

• Shunting trailers safely around the yard
• Moving vehicles between bays and loading areas
• Conducting vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining site safety procedures at all times
• Working closely with transport and warehouse teams

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Minimum 6 months Class 1 experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good understanding of driving and working time regulations
• Strong safety awareness and communication skills
