Class-Based Teacher

MS/UPS + 1 SEN Point

An opportunity has arisen for a class‑based Teacher at Southall School. The role involves teaching a class of children with complex needs.
We welcome applications from professionals who work in a special needs or mainstream setting (primary or secondary) and have a passion for SEND.

Our ideal Teacher will:
- Be an outstanding teacher
- Be confident and competent in teaching all subjects
- Have previous experience working with children with special needs
- Have an understanding of Child Protection Policies
- Be patient and empathetic towards pupils
- Have a good command of written and spoken English
The post is likely to suit someone with a desire to work with pupils with special educational needs and disability.
The postholder will be paid at mainscale/upper pay scale and will receive 1 SEN point (currently £2,787).
