Class 1 Drivers Shepshed (Ltd Drivers Welcome)

Overview

We are recruiting for class 1 drivers in Shepshed, Leicester and are able to accept Ltd and PAYE drivers. General haulage work with experience of curtain side, box and flatbed trailers is advantageous. Immediate starts are available (day shifts). Shifts are available 7 days a week with various start times.

Responsibilities

• Class 1, collection and delivery work.
• Trunking work (depot to depot) with trailer swap.
• Ongoing temporary and ad hoc shifts available.
• Night trunking work, depot to depot trailer swap work. Average shift length will be 10 – 12 hours with start times between 13:00 and 20:00.

Qualifications

• Hold Class 1 licence for a minimum of 1 year.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence, with no major offences.
• Eligible for Ltd or PAYE positions.

Hours and pay

• Days (Mon–Fri): £18 p/h (Ltd).
• Sunday: £21 p/h (Ltd).
• Night shifts: typically £16–£17 p/h (Temporary – Ongoing).
• Additional assignments may offer higher rates, up to £19–£31 per hour for Ltd temporary ongoing roles.

Start times include day, evening and night shifts across 7 days. These roles include depot-to-depot trunking with trailer swaps and the potential for ad hoc or block-booked shifts.
