Position: Rental TechnicianLocation: LutonJob type: Full Time, PermanentShift Pattern: Friday to Tuesday 9am – 5pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch (this role includes working every weekend)

Responsibilities
- As a Field Representative, support Arjo’s customers by delivering and picking up rented products when patients and caregivers need them most, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of solutions.
- As the Rental Technician, be responsible for the delivery, collection, 1st line repair and servicing of rental equipment in the local area.
- Maintain an understanding of product ranges addressing clinical needs for long-term care residents and patients with chronic conditions, including positioning solutions, mattress systems, medical beds, hygiene systems and compression therapies.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service to provide the exemplary level of service expected.
- Build long-term relationships with customers by maintaining a positive and proactive approach, energy and enthusiasm.
Skills and Qualifications
- Methodical, logical and practical approach
- Ability to prioritise work and amend route plans accordingly
- Experience of multi-drop delivery (highly desirable)
- Experience of 1st line repair of electrical/mechanical equipment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with ability to work autonomously
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Driving Licence: valid UK driver’s licence
- Enhanced DBS clearance (at the cost of Arjo)
- Ability to lift bulky bedframes and mattresses for prolonged periods
- May require work outside normal hours (evenings, weekends, bank holidays) and participation in the On Call rota
- Must be able to drive a large van, hold a clean driving licence for at least one year, and route plan effectively
