Roaming Head Chef – Dorset
Location
Peripatetic role across care homes in Dorset (Bournemouth, Dorchester, Ferndown, Gillingham, Poole, Ringwood, Southbourne, Weymouth)
Pay & Benefits
Up to £16 per hour + 33p per business mile + enhanced bank holiday pay + options for extra shifts + free light lunch on shift.
Hours & Shifts
40 hours over 4 days, including 2 weekends per month. Shifts 7:30 AM to 6 PM.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle for business use.
- Appropriate business use car insurance.
- Certificate in NVQ Level 2 Food Production / Hygiene; Level 3 desirable.
- Understanding of health and safety and relevant legislation.
- 18 years or older.
- Visa sponsorship not offered.
Responsibilities
Provide cover across all Dorset homes, ensuring meals are prepared safely and on time, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting residents with their dietary needs.
