The Role

Driver Hire Norwich is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Night Trunk Drivers to support our clients across Norfolk. This role is ideal for drivers who prefer working overnight trunking routes, typically involving long‑distance deliveries with minimal manual handling.

Night shifts only – consistent work available Monday to Friday, with optional weekend shifts.

This is ongoing temporary work with potential for temp‑to‑perm placements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating Class 1 vehicles on trunking routes during night hours
• Ensuring safe and timely deliveries
• Completing relevant paperwork and maintaining accurate records of driving and working hours
• Adhering to all site health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Full UK HGV Class 1 Licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred
• No more than 6 points on licence (no CD, IN, DD or DR codes)
• Strong understanding of Driving Hours and WTR regulations
