Join the paw-some team at Rudie’s Kitchen, part of Butternut Box, where we cook up tails of success and wagging tails. We’re looking for hard‑working dog lovers (and animals) like you to join our manufacturing and fulfilment team in Blyth, Doncaster. In return for your tail‑wagging dedication, we offer a wage of up to £16.02 per hour.

Location

Located in Blyth, Doncaster (just off the Junction of A1(M) and A614 Hill Top Roundabout, Blyth S81 8HG).

Contract Details

We are pleased to say this is a full‑time permanent contract, with a rolling average of 41 hours per week, working in shift rotation of days, nights, and some weekend working. Working shifts are 7:00‑19:00 for days and 19:00‑7:00 for nights.

  • 4 days on, 4 days off = 2 days, 2 nights
  • 5 days on, 5 days off = 3 days, 2 nights
  • 5 days on, 5 days off = 2 days, 3 nights

A bit about the role

  • Carrying out scheduled daily cleaning tasks in line with the predefined schedule.
  • Replenish stock of consumables in the kitchen and communal areas.
  • Change the sanitiser stations at specific times in the shift.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is readily available for the production team.
  • Post cleaning checks to ensure everything has been completed properly.
  • Support production teams with deep cleaning activity.
  • Carry out deep cleaning of rooms, walls, ceiling, equipment, drainage system, ventilation.
  • Complete Cleaning‑In‑Place programmes on ovens and freezers.
  • Carry out titration checks on chemicals and take micro swabs on surfaces.
  • Monitor stock of cleaning chemicals and equipment on‑site and reorder if necessary.
  • Log all cleaning activities on the paperless quality assurance system.
  • Follow and uphold all H&S guidelines and SOPs.

A bit about you

  • Previous cleaning experience within a food production environment.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning machines such as foamers, lifters and scrubbers.
  • Comfortable working at heights and willing to undertake required training.
  • High level of accuracy and good attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a chilled environment with raw protein (lamb, pork, turkey, chicken).
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems.
  • Committed to food quality & safety.
  • A supportive and helpful team member.
  • Love to see things clean and shiny, and don’t settle for less than perfection.
