Responsibilities
- Provide a first class service to all customers.
- Allocate work duties to team members to ensure all duties are covered and maintain high quality service at all times.
- Exercise and enforce constant watch over Health & Safety, Security, Discipline and Due Diligence.
- Carry out food safety control checks in all areas and record the results.
- Ensure stock is displayed correctly, prices are accurate and waste recording procedures are followed.
- Prepare and cook all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the Delish Deli Department (front and back).
- Enforce all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene and safety.
- Undertake other duties as required for the role.
Skills and Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in a serviced food role.
- At least 6 months of experience leading a team.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for people, inspiring and motivating the team.
- Creative flair and eye for detail, ensuring excellent presentation and standards.
- Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures, with a minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.
- Commercial awareness and ability to deliver on KPIs such as sales, costs and profitability.
Working Hours
Full‑time permanent position: 42.5 hours per week. Working within deli opening hours of 6am to 5.30pm, Monday to Sunday, with some flexibility required.
