Essential Criteria
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- In‑depth knowledge of learning difficulties that students may have
As a Specialist Study Skills Support Worker, you’ll provide personalized learning support, including:
- Developing individual learning plans to foster independence
- Building on strengths and effective learning strategies
- Enhancing organization and time management skills
- Creating action plans to stay on track
- Improving research and comprehension skills
- Experience assisting students with Autism – a significant advantage
It is essential to address student needs on a case‑by‑case basis while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Sharing relevant information with Randstad ensures the best service for your students.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with clients with specific learning difficulties
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to identify ways of helping students build on their learning strengths while maintaining a confidential and professional working relationship
- Punctuality and reliability

- Relevant professional body memberships: PATOSS, BDA, ADSHE, DG
- Ability to manage a caseload of students
