Teacher Of the Deaf Needed in Greenwich – Permanent
TLTP is working with an OFSTED‑rated “Good” primary school in Eltham, looking to recruit a Teacher of the Deaf to begin permanently in September 2026.
Key Requirements
- Planning and marking expected for the role
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
- Experience in British Sign Language (BSL) essential
- Ability to plan engaging lessons for pupils
- Passion for the learning and development of pupils
Role Overview
The Teacher of the Deaf will work within a mixed‑age classroom (age 3 to 11) and will be supported by a teaching assistant who assists with behaviour and general learning. The role requires a strong knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to cater to diverse learning needs and learning styles.
