WideyCourt Primary School are looking to appoint two outstanding and highlymotivated Teaching Assistants to join our team from September 2026. Thesuccessful candidates should have experience working with children in a schoolenvironment.
Aspart of Connect Academy Trust, there may be the opportunity to work in any ofour schools in the future. This post is initially situated at Widey CourtPrimary School.
Youcould be the person we appoint if you:
- Havea warm, caring, nurturing personality with a friendly disposition.
- Havean NVQ 2/3 qualification (or working towards).
- Haveexcellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Havehigh expectations of pupils’ learning and behaviour.
- Areenthusiastic, flexible and organised with excellent communication skills andinitiative.
- Areable to develop positive relationships with children and parents.
- Arepassionate about working with children and look forward to joining our friendlyteam.
- Areable to support pupils to develop independence, self-confidence and socialinteraction.
- Areable to develop positive behaviour strategies with children.
- Haveexperience or the ability to work with children with SEND, including Speech,language communication difficulties, ASD and Social & Emotional needs.
