Job Overview
Safety and Security Ambassador – Relief. You will monitor premises, conduct patrols, respond to incidents and uphold security protocols. The role requires vigilance, calmness and strong observational skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming staff and visitors creating a safe, professional atmosphere
- Conducting regular patrols to prevent unauthorised access, theft or vandalism
- Monitoring access points, CCTV and handling security procedures
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies and security incidents
- Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents and any security concerns
- Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and first aid support if required
- Adapt to different client sites – no two days are the same
- Respond calmly and confidently to incidents or concerns
- Work as part of a diverse, supportive team

Qualifications
- Current DS SIA Licence
- Proven experience in a security role or similar position
- Strong observational skills to identify and respond to security threats
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, visitors and authorities
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in high‑pressure situations
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays
