Whole Birds Packing Operatives

We have a number of opportunities available in our factory in Willand, Devon, which has been continually processing for over 100 years.

Working Hours

The position operates on a 3-week rotating rota with the following schedule:

• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
• Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
• Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday

Shift times: AM – 05:00 am to 15:15 pm; PM – 15:30 pm to 00:00 am.

Pay

The rate of pay is £13.11 per hour.

Main Responsibilities

• Truss whole birds to the required speed.
• Lining baskets.
• Assisting with other lines in the production area.
• Maintaining high standards required for our customers.
• Adhering to Food Safety and Health & Safety standards.
• Working with a multicultural team of enthusiastic employees.

Ideal Candidate

We provide full training in Food Safety, Quality, Health and Safety and the specific duties of a Trussing Operative. No prior experience is required; a “can‑do” attitude is essential.
