We currently offer two pathways of learning specific to pupil’s needs, however we encourage our pupils to develop the qualities of our school values: Respect, Resilience, Confidence, Motivation, Aspiration and Integrity.

We are seeking to appoint from September 2026, Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work with a diverse cohort of pupils across our school community. This means that you could be working with any age group within the school from Early Years Foundation Stage to Post 16.

We expect candidates to have at least (please see full details in Job Description):

  • A passion for supporting pupils to learn to the best of their ability.
  • A recognised and relevant NVQ level 2 qualification or be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, experience and skills.
  • At least GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at Grade A-C.
  • A good knowledge and understanding of SEND and areas of the curriculum.
  • Previous experience of TA work.
  • Good communication and listening skills and be able to present information verbally and in writing.

The salary range for this position is £ 28,598 – £ 31,022 full time equivalent which equates to £21,606 – £ 23,437 per annum actual salary for 32.5 hours per week working term time plus 5 training days.

The working day is 08.50 – 15.40 Monday to Wednesday and Friday and 08.50 – 16.40 on Thursdays.
