Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor to work at a welcoming secondary school in Oldbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate considering a future career in education, or an experienced member of school support staff looking for flexible work.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged with the work provided and maintaining a positive learning environment.
We are looking for individuals who:
- Hold a degree (essential)
- Ideally have at least 1 year of experience working with children or young people
- Have strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Are confident leading a classroom environment
- Can be flexible and adaptable to different subjects and year groups
The role will mainly involve general classroom cover across a range of subjects. However, there may also be opportunities for subject specialists, which attract the higher end of the pay scale.
