Salary: £25,620 to £25,989 per annum pro rata

Grade: GTA C/D, MSA A/B

Contract: Fixed Term, Term Time

Hours: 26 HPW (24 hrs GTA /2 hrs MSA)

  • Monday: 8:30-3:30
  • Tuesday: 8:30-3:30

About our School

Due to anincreasing number of pupils on roll, we require an excellent GTA to join our team,initially on a fixed-term basis for one year. The post will involve workingwith pupils in the EYFS and Key Stage 1, although the successful candidate willbe flexible enough to work across the school. As the role primarily involvesworking with the youngest pupils, the candidate will have a passion for theEarly Years and an ability to promote the highest quality interactions betweenpupils. Alongside this, the successful candidate will support pupils 1:1 andsupervise pupils during their lunch break. Hunton &Arrathorne Community Primary School is a flourishing village school with 95pupils on roll. In September 2023, we received a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating with‘Outstanding’ Personal Development, Early Years and Behaviour & Management. Pupils are taught by a talented and dedicated staff team in five classes; webenefit from high adult : pupil ratios to ensure the best outcomes for ourchildren, and are supported by wonderful governors and parents. Our school is agreat place to work and we are looking for a new member of our team who haslots to offer.

About the Role

We are seeking to recruit an exceptional, versatile andenthusiastic member of staff to join our growing team at our wonderful school. Thisis an interesting and varied role which includes several aspects

  • Working to support our youngest childreninitially – in Early Years and Key Stage 1.
  • Contributing to our high-quality, outstandingEarly Years provision.
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs on a 1:1basis.
  • Working as a midday supervisor, supporting andassisting children’s play during lunchtimes.
